Soon after Puri Jagannath's announcement of his next movie with Vijay Deverakonda, RGV went on praising Vijay Deverakonda. This happened after RGV's degrading of Vijay's Dear comrade collections at the Box office.

After seeing the business at the box office, he took to his twitter saying "is Issmart shankar more Issmart than nonissmart comrade or is nonissmart comrade not more issmart than Shankar? Truth only RAM’s VIJAYam knows." which made infuriated Vijay Deverakonda's fans. RGV got trolled for his derisive tweet.

Vijaya Deverakonda then joined hands with Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur who is producing the film. He took to twitter to share-- " "It's official today is really happpyyyyy happyyyyy #Eid @TheDeverakonda @purijagan @PuriConnects #PCfilm #EidMubarak."

Charmme Kaur also shared a statement, "It's OFFICIAL!!! PC proudly announces our next project with one n only Vijay Deverkonda directed by our Puri Jagannadh .. Sensational director Ram Gopal Verma also praised the combo of Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh.

Taking to Twitter He said," "WOWWWW @TheDeverakonda and @purijagan COMBO will be RED HOT. it will BURN the BOXOFFICE. Congrats to @Charmmeofficial for being so amazingly ISSMART ."

Vijay and Puri's first combo film is said to be titled Jana Gana Mana and is to be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi languages.
