Viswasam Enters 100 Crore Club

Thala Ajith and Nayanthara starrer Viswasam has entered the Rs 100 crore club finally through its worldwide business, though a bit late after Rajanikanth's Petta, which made 100 Crore in just 4 days of its release.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared the same on twitter. The tweet reads, "#Thala #Ajith 's #Viswasam has crossed ₹ 100 Crs Gross at the WW Box office. A tremendous achievement for a movie in a single lang version and which clashed with a biggie to achieve this in few days after release." The film has collected half a million Singapore dollar for the opening weekend in Singapore.

Viswasam had earned Rs 1.05 crore in Chennai on day 4 at the Box Office. and managed to make Rs 1.32 crore on day 4 at the Chennai Box Office, taking the total collection to Rs 4.81 crore. Viswasam which is directed by Siva has depicted Ajith in a double role, which is one of the highlights of the film.

Meanwhile, Thala Ajith will soon start the shooting for the Tamil remake of the Amitabh Bachchan film Pink which has Vidya Balan in the female lead.
