Tollywood Pays Homage to Ranganath

Hyderabad: Tollywood fraternity on Sunday paid homage to senior actor Ranganath who committed suicide on Saturday.His body was kept at Film Chamber in Jubilee Hills before cremation on Sunday.

Prominent actors including Chiranjeevi, Murali Mohan, Giribabu and Jamuna and producer Tammareddy Bharadwaj paid their last respect to the departed actor. Chiranjeevi recalled his association with Ranganath from the days of Love in Singapore in which the latter was the main hero while the former a second hero. "It was unfortunate that a great actor and a good human being Ranganath ended his life so abruptly. May his soul rest in peace," the film fraternity has said.

Later, Ranganath's body was cremated at the Bansilalpet crematorium. His son Nagendra lit the funeral pyre.
