In his desperate bid to come back to power in Andhra Pradesh, Telugu Desam Party chief, Chandrababu Naidu tried all permutations and combinations.

The talk in the political circles is that even though BJP was not keen to align with TDP in the state, the latter begged the Saffron party to do so. According to reports, Chandrababu wanted to ride on BJP Prime Ministerial Narendra Modi's popularity wave that is sweeping the nation.

Now in an attempt to lure a superstar and his support, Chandrababu has turned his back on one of ardent loyalists.

As per reports, Chandrababu has bowed down to the wishes of a famous actor, who recently started his own party and has started ignoring Kesineni Nani, TDP in-charge for the Vijayawada LS seat, who incidentally, spent more than Rs 10 crore on party activities during Chandrababu's padayatra.

Kesineni had harboured ambitions of contesting for Vijayawada Lok Sabha and has been working as Lok Sabha constituency in-charge for the last two years.

But just few weeks before the elections, he was denied ticket. This has not disappointed not only Kesineni and but all the TDP leaders.

Many opine that Chandrababu has bowed down to Pawan Kalyan, and is all set to give ticket to industrialist Potluri Varaprasad on the recommendation of the actor.

When the news of this development broke out, Kesineni tried to meet Chandrababu twice, however the latter did not even grant him an audience.
