To float a new party or not ?

These are trying times for former Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy. After alienating a number of colleagues with his sudden anti-bifurcation enthusiasm and resignation, Kiran is now struggling  to chart out his future course of action.

Rumours are that the former CM is all set to launch his new party. However, he is also grappling with some serious questions. How many leaders are willing to accompany Kiran on this journey? What should the slogan of the new party be? Will he win the trust of people?

Kiran, hitherto, had been saying that he will bowl the last ball on state bifurcation.  Now, it proved a big blunder and his last ball became a futile one.

The outgoing chief minister is also bothered about his political future.
Some leaders met Kiran on Wednesday to discuss the future course of action. But Kiran didn't reveal his plans in the meeting. He will meet the leaders again on February  22 after the Parliament session ends on February 21.

Some leaders like Kavuri Sambasivarao, Rayapati Sambasivarao, Harsha Kumar, Undavalli Arunkumar, Lagadapati Rajgopal, Sai Pratap and others were confident that Kiran would be able to stall bifurcation plans. But, all those are finally proved false ones.

However, some reports suggest that Kiran’s resignation won’t be accepted by the governor and he will be continued in the post till the Parliament session is over.
