'Throw out anti-Congress elements'

Hyderabad: Palvai Govadardhan Reddy on Wednesday demanded that the Congress High Command cleanup the party's organisational set up in Telangana.

Talking to media persons in Hyderabad, he demanded that the CWC throw out those working against the interests of the party. He also said that every party member should work for the party's welfare.

Despite granting Telangana state, party has been restricted only to 21 seats in the state assembly in recently concluded election. Many MLAs and MLCs have been joining the ruling TRS. CWC is not happy with TPCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah, he said and added that the CWC has received complaints Ponnala Lakshmaiah's style of functioning.
