Three dead in lightning strike in Krishna district of AP

Machilipatnam: Three persons were killed and one person injured as they were struck by lightning in two separate incidents in Krishna district on Thursday evening.

Nandigama deputy superintendent of police R Murali told PTI that two farm labourers were killed and another was injured in lightning stike at Anasagaram village in Nanidigama Mandal while returning from the fields.
The deceased were identified as K Rajeswar Rao (38) and K Ishak (30). K Asok, who was injured, was taken to Vijayawada hospital. While K Satyaeswara Rao (22) was killed near Munneru canal in the mandal. All the deceased belongd to Sanagapadu village of Penuganchiprolu mandal.
