'Thota Narasimham must be arrested'

YSRCP leader Thota Gandhi started his indefinite fast at Veeravaram in East Godavari district demanding the arrest of TDP MP Thota Narasimham, who attacked them.

YSRCP MLA Jyothula Nehru lent his support to Gandhi.

Police security has been tightened at Veeravaram as the tense situation was prevailed in the village.

Thota Narasimham was recently elected from Kakinada parliamentary constituency. But, YSRCP candidate got majority of votes at Veeravaram village, the native village of Narasimham, in Kirlampudi mandal in the recent MPTC elections. In the general elections too, YSRCP candidate, Chalamalasetti Sunil, got more votes than Narasimham at the same village.

Unable to digest the same, the MP behaved as a street rowdy and attacked the YSRCP leader.
