Varun Tej's latest offering Tholi Prema which was opened in the theatres on February 9 was loved by the audiences and appreciated by the celebrities. The film continues to do incredible business which even the filmmakers didn't even expect.

It has become a second blockbuster hit in Varun's career after Fidaa. It is worth mentioning, Tholi Prema has also become one of the biggest blockbuster hits of 2018, till now. We are just in the third month of this year, but three minimum budget films have turned out to be super hit films such as Nani's Awe, Naga Shourya's Chalo and among them is Varun Tej's Tholi Prema.

The film has collected Rs 18.50 crores from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and it has managed to collect worldwide around Rs 23.75 crores.

Tholi Prema title has been inspired by Power star Pawan Kalyan which also gave a path break success to the Agnyaathavaasi actor. Even same flavour have worked out for Varun Tej.

Tholi Prema is all about a love story where Varun and Raashi meet in train Journey. They become friends in college during ragging time but due to some misunderstanding both of them break up. How they get together form the story of Tholi Prema. Helmed by Prasanth Varma, the film also includes Hyper Aadi, Suhasini and other supporting casts in the important roles.

On a related note, Varun Tej has signed the project and it is yet to go on floors. It will be directed by Sankalp Reddy of Ghazi fame and the makers of the are busy in finalizing the cast and crew. According to sources, two actresses will be playing female leads who would be they is not yet known. It is said there would be no songs in the film and is completely based on only background score.
