This Woman Lives With Over 1000 Pet Spiders
Indonesia: You might have heard people having dogs, cats or even birds as pets, but have you ever come across anyone having spiders as pets? It may sound bizarre, but an Indonesian woman, Ming Cu, has a collection of 1,500-odd spiders in her house.
The 28-year-old developed interest in spiders after she found a colourful spider in her home's backyard. She has a collection since 2010 and also found a website called 'Spider Lover Pet Shop' where she sells online.
Living in Bandung City , she has spent USD 55,000 on tarantulas. She admits that she finds it difficult but her enthusiasm towards tarantulas gave her a push to go forward. She has graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology in Product Designing and keep her pet in jars and glass terrariums . Her obsession has earned her the name of 'Queen Tarantula' of which she is proud of.
