Hyderabad: By claiming that he did his BCom with physics and maths, Vijayawada (West) MLA Jaleel Khan proves himself uneducated. Khan who won on a YSR Congress Party ticket but later defected to TDP instists that commerce is nothing but maths and says he will have check once what all the subjects he studied in his degree course.

The video in which Jaleel Khan is seen bluffing about his educational qualifications has gone viral on social media since Tuesday. He claimed he studied maths and physics for his B.Com degree, subjects not included in any Bachelor of Commerce course.

A YouTube channel interviewed the politician and when the interviewer was trying hard to hide his reaction, the MLA said commerce is nothing but mathematics. Jaleel Khan is a scrap dealer and became an MLA from the YSRC from Vijayawada West constituency.

However, Khan mentioned in his affidavit submitted to the Election Commission of India that he passed his Matriculation (Class 10) in 1969 from SHAD Tutorial College, Vijayawada.

When a reporter sought his clarification, Khan said that he would have to check all his certificates to find out and clarify what he had studied exactly.
