This is Rajamouli’s Favourite Film In 2017

Hyderabad: The year 2017 was an eventful year for the Telugu industry. It was a win-win situation for the cine-lovers and Tollywood as most of the films went to become hits and the audiences lapped it all up. Among them SS Rajamouli's Baahubali had a global appeal. The film gave national recognition to all the stars particularly, Prabhas who will next be seen in a Bollywood flick; secondly, it gave immense pride for the Telugu people as a film made by a South Indian maker ruled the Bollywood box office.

Rajamouli who's fondly referred to as Jakkaanna was asked to name his favourite film of this year. It would have been difficult to zero in for the maker given that there were many big movies right from Megastar Chiranjeevi's Khaidi No.150 to Balakrishna's Gautamiputra Satakarni and Sekhar Kammula's Fidaa. However, the director chose debutant director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film Arjun Reddy as his favourite one. Well, this news is a delight for Arjun Reddy makers and the entire cast.

"Arjun Reddy is a fantastic film. A new age film which took box-office by storm. I was one among them who raved about this film," said Rajamouli. We have to wait what Sandeep and Vijay Devarakonda have to say it about.
