This Fake Cop Was DCP In Suryapet, CSO In Ghatkesar, Black Cat Commando At Home!!

He was a master of deception. But, every time he duped people, he posed as a cop of varying designations. If he was a CCS inspector at one place, he was an Assistant Commissioner of Police at another. At yet another place, he claimed he was deputy commissioner in the Home department. His car had a siren and a flash bulb fitted to it and his Honda Activa sported a sticker telling everyone who cared that he was a cop.

Among those who were duped by him are friends, relatives, politicians, temple managements, toll plazas and even a famous engineering college in the city.

Meet Raghavendra Satyapal, who lived in an apartment in MJ Towers near Kacheguda's famed Tourist Hotel. For over ten years, this charade worked for him. But, on Friday, he had his comeuppance. Mandal Task Force CI Srinivasa Rao finally ended Raghavendra's dream run and arrested him.

Raghavendra was introduced to the police department after he became a Mytrisangham member at Kacheguda police station in 2004. He got three uniforms stitched for himself. He also got the epaulettes and other badges fixed to them to suit the designation he claimed.

This way he began duping people ranging from fruit sellers to vehicle mechanics. When he was arrested on Friday, he was found to be in possession of three vehicles, four bogus identity cards, police uniforms and other valuables. The name plate at his residence had Chief Security Officer, Black Cat Commando written on it.

The icing on the cake was that he duped the management of the Srinidhi Institute of Science and Technology in Ghatkesar and became its chief security officer. He is now cooling his heels behind bars.
