Thieves created ruckus in Ranga Reddy district

Thieves created ruckus at Fatehpur village in Sankarapalli mandal in Ranga Reddy district in the early hours of Sunday.

They entered a house in the area and attacked six persons in the house with knives and mirchi powder. They cut off the hands and legs of the people in the house.

Some amount of gold and about Rs.50,000 cash was taken away by the thieves.

As the victims cried out loudly for help, the locals came to the rescue of them and informed the matter immediately to the police.

The police reached the spot and admitted the victims into the government hospital at Sanga Reddy.

The position of one of the victims, Ramulu, is said to be critical now.

It is not yet clearly known whether the attackers are thieves or known persons
