Thief stuck in chimney, rescued and arrested

A thief, who came to commit theft, got stuck in the chimney and had to be rescued by the possible victims themselves.

The funny incident occurred in Ambedkar Nagar area of Siddipet in Medak district.

According to the police, Bhargav, a small-time thief, tried to sneak into a house through the chimney, but got stuck inside. He tried every which way to extricate himself, but failed to come out. Left with no option, he started shouting for help.

The people, who were woken up by the shrieks, toiled hard to rescue him from inside the chimney and handed him over to the police.
