Thief Charred To Ashes While Trying To Steal In Mahbubnagar

Mahabubnagar: A thief who went to steal money from a roadside tea stall was charred to death in the wee hours on Wednesday at Kothur in Mahabubnagar district.

According to police, the unidentified man broke into the tea stall from the rear and then knocked an open can of kerosene. As the room was dark, he lit a match stick to see what actually has happened. The spilled kerosene caught fire and burnt the entire structure to ashes. The thief was caught in the fire and his completely charred body was found after the the fire was doused.

When the fire broke out, the locals there called the firemen and put out the fire. While cleaning dhaba, the owner D. Ram found the body and informed the police.

The stall owner D.Ram used to sell Kerosene and petrol as a part of his business. The fire broke out when the kerosene cans knocked down by the thief.

Police registered the case and investigation is underway
