Theft in LOT mobile store

Theft in a LOT mobiles store created quite a sensation in the temple town of Tirupathi. On Sunday night, unidentified miscreants broke open the LOT store at the Municipal Office Junction in Tilak Road. They decamped with mobile phones worth Rs 8.50 lakh.

The incident occurred as the sentry on duty left home early in the evening. The theft was noticed only on Monday morning, when the owner came to open the shop. He immediately alerted the police personnel, who begain investigations.
