The Rejigged AP Cabinet, Ministers and Portfolios

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu rejigged his cabinet on Sunday and the new list of ministers ad their portfolios was announced on Monday.

Some of the ministers were given a much lower portfolio signifying their "demotion" in the council of ministers while others were "promoted" and given plum portfolios. The star entrant in the cabinet is without doubt the CM's son Nara Lokesh who was made minister for IT and Panchayati Raj. Prominent among those whose portfolio was changed are: Prapati Pulla Rao, Achamnaidu, Sidda Raghavarao and Paritala Sunita.

Interestingly, the portfolios of deputy chief ministers KR Krishna Murthy and Chinna Rajappa were not changed. Similar was the case with Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Ganta Srinivas Rao, Devineni Umamaheshwar Rao, Narayana, Manikyala Rao and Kamineni Srinivas.

Nakka Anand Babu - Social welfare
Pitani Satyanarayana - Labour, Employee skill development

Sujayakrishna Ranga Rao - Mining
Amaranath Reddy - Industries, Food processing
Adinarayana Reddy - Marketing
Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy - Agriculture, Horticulture
Kalva Srinivasulu - Rural development, Housing
Achamnaidu - Textiles, Transport, BC Welfare
Ayyana Patrudu - Roads & Buildings
Paritala Sunita - Woman & Child Welfare
Kollu Ravindra - Law, Youth and Sports
Sidda Raghavarao - Forest and Environment
P Pulla Rao - Civil supplies
