Nizamabad: “Keeping the promises that we made to the people has made us very happy”, said Y.S Sharmila, the daughter of the Late Dr. Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy and sister to the YSRCP chief and opposition leader Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy.

“We have kept the promise that 'Jagan anna' had made in Paapurallagutta”, she said. “YSR will remain in the hearts of Telugu people forever”, she added. She was speaking to reporters at Pothangal kalan village in Gandhari mandal of Nizamabad district on Friday afternoon, after concluding her Paramarsha yatra.

On his way to address public issues through the Rachabanda program, the late Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy lost his life in a helicopter accident on 2nd September 2009.
Unable to bear the sudden demise of their great leader, 750 people lost their lives.
Never before has a democracy witnessed such a tragic loss of life in response to their leaders death.
One can estimate how great a leader YSR was and what a good man he was by this response alone.
Like a father takes care of his son, YSR took care of the peoples' needs and gave an ideal meaning to the CM's chair.
He implemented welfare schemes for all, without any discrimination based on caste, religion, class and region.
Without any feelings of local and alien, he created benefits for everyone.
He will be cherished forever in the hearts of the people of 23 districts.
In the supply of free power for the farming sector, in the Aarogyashree progam that pours health into people's lives, in the Jalaygnam program that helped irrigate lakhs of fields and in many other such programs and schemes, YSR will continue to remain in the hearts of the people.
That the great leader's programs still continue to be implemented in both the Telugu states, even six years after his death, is a testimony for YSR's greatness.
Y.S Jagan had made a promise in Paapurallagutta to console the families of those who had lost their lives bereaving the great leaders death.
The promise that was made in the responsibility of a son was given a political colouring by the Congress party.
It colluded with the TDP and brought cases against 'Jagan anna' and put him through lots of hardship.
However, no matter how many difficulties 'Jagan anna' faced, he was firm in his determination.
We have kept the promise that 'Jagan anna' had made in Paapurallagutta.
The joy that we have kept our promises is now ours.
We have met everyone and consoled them, acknowledged their love and expressed our gratitude.
