Suriya's pongal release Thaanaa Serndha Koottam had got a terrific opening across the world.The film, which is a remake of the hit Bollywood flick Special 26 has received an overwhelming response from the audience.According to reports, the film has managed to rake in a whopping 35 crores on its second day at the box office.

Thaanaa Serndha Koottam is directed by Vignesh Shivan and features Keerthy Suresh as female lead.
