Tension In Vadisaleru, TDP Faction Attacks ZP Vice-Chairman’s House

Rangampeta (East Godavari): Tension prevailed in Vadisaleru, a remote village in Rangampet mandal in East Godavari district when TDP workers attacked the house of Zilla Parishad vice-chairman Nalinikanth on Monday. The TDP party is divided into two factions in the village led by Nalinikanth and Alla Govind respectively.
The discord among the two factions turned violent on Sunday evening. Some miscreants pelted stones at the residence of Nalinikanth.
Meanwhile, the police personnel have been deployed to bring the situation under control. Section 144 has been clamped in the village. The police suspect that a small issue may have pushed the village into mayhem.
