Ten MLCs elected unanimously

All the 10 candidates who filed nomination papers for MLC posts were elected unanimously on Monday.

As the deadline for filing papers was closed at 3 pm, 10 MLC were declared elected. The MLCs for Congress elected are Shabbir Ali, Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, T Santosh Kumar, DCC president of Karimnagar, K Veerabhadra Swamy, DCC president of Vizianagaram and Lakshmi Sivakumari of East Godavari district. The elected candidates called on PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana in his chamber and thanked him for choosing them. 

TDP MLCs are Yenamala Ramakrishnudu, Samanthakamani and Saleem, YSRCP MLC Adireddy Appa Rao and TRS Mahmood Ali. Several leaders greeted the elected members.
