Telugus in Tamil Nadu Demand Party Tickets in Assembly Elections

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Telugu Yuvasakthi has demanded party tickets to Telugus in Chennai and other parts of the state in the ensuing Assembly elections.The oranization that met in Chennai on Saturday under the leadership of Yuvasakthi president Kethireddy Jagadishwar Reddy and resolved to vote for the party what would assure tickets to Telugus where Telugu population is more than 40 percent. The meeting also demanded preservation of Telugu language in educational institutions and government offices and constitution of Telugu Cultural Board. The organization decided to campaign for the political parties that give tickets to Telugus in a Telugu Ratham.

Andhra Social and Cultural former president M. Adiseshaiah, World Aryavaisya Mahasabha president Tanguturi Ramakrishna, Dravida Desam president V. Srikrishna Rao and others participated in the meeting.
