Telugu Students Clinch Top Ranks In GATE Exam 

Hyderabad: Four Telugu students have secured place in top 10 including first rank in ECE in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017 exam which was held in February.

K. Sai Pramod, from Meerpet in the city secured the first rank in ECE. The second place clinched by Sri Kalyani who resides at Tarnaka, while the Anand got ninth rank.

Kalyani delighted by her rank and credited her lecturers for her achievement. She said that she underwent coaching for six months and followed the lecturers' instructions seriously.

In Telangana nearly 70,000 appeared for GATE, while 50,000 from Andhra Pradesh appeared for exam in Hyderabad itself

Anand, who comes from a farmers family, said that he studied 8-10 hours daily. He said his father is a farmer and always kept him in mind while studying.
