The year has been eventful for Telugu actor Prabhas, Chiranjeevi, Jr.NTR, Allu Arjun and the others. Prabhas' Baahubali 2, Chiranjeevi's comeback movie Khaidi No150, Jr.NTR's Jai Lava Kusa and Allu Arjun's DJ have turned out to be the highest grossing Telugu movies of the year.

Another four big ticket films are scheduled to hit the screens before December 31 and we are fifteen days away from the year end. Compared to last year, this year we had more number of successful films than the flop ones.

As we all know, Baahubali set several records and it also broke records of previous films. On the other hand, films like Baahubali 2, Khaidi No 150, Jai Lava Kusa (JLK) and DJ aka Duvvada Jagannadham entered into the prestigious Rs 100 Crore club.

Unexpectedly, even small budget films like Nani's Nenu Local, Sharwanand's Gautamiputra Satakarni and Vijay Devarakonda's Arjun Reddy too joined the Rs 50 Cr club this year. Tollywood stars and directors gave enough reasons for the audience to celebrate. It may be recalled that Baahubali 2 raked in a whopping Rs1700 Cr at the box office. It is rare for an Indian film to do unstoppable business at the box office.
