Telugu Desam Must Stop Witch Hunt On Dalits: Jogi Ramesh 

Amaravati: The Telugu Desam government must stop witch hunt on Dalits in the state, YSRCP spokesman Jogi Ramesh said.

Addressing the media here on Saturday, he said the state government introduced the Dalita Tejam programme to mislead the people. "There were no welfare programmes for Dalits since four years. Dalit employees such as NTTPS chief engineer Padma Sujata and Ibrahimpatnam tahsildar Imtiaz Pasha were subjected to humiliation by the TDP leaders. However, the TDP suddenly remembered Dalits in view of the ensuing Assembly elections and introduced a welfare programme," he said. He called on the chief minister for immediate action to stop atrocities on Dalits in the state.
