Hyderabad: Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, N Chandrababu Naidu and K Chandrasekhar Rao respectively, had a face-to-face interaction further strengthening their bonhomie at the dinner party hosted by the Governor ESL Narasimhan for the visiting President Pranab Mukharjee at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday.

KCR and Chandrababu are learnt to have shared their thoughts with each other over various issues relating to the two Telugu states for over 15 minutes during their meeting at Raj Bhavan.

The ‘At Home’ dinner hosted by Governor ESL Narasimhan for President Pranab Mukherjee, who has been in Hyderabad on his southern sojourn, on the lawns of Raj Bhavan here paved the way for the second successive meet between KCR and Chandrababu after their Sunday’s interaction that had taken place on the closing session of KCR’s Yaagam.

The governor is believed to be keen on an improved relation between the two CMs and ensured that they both sit side by side and interact with each other, away from other guests.

The CMs shook hands with each other and patted each other’s backs, and the duo sat across the table in order to resolve the contentious issues between the two states, it's learnt.

High Court chief justice Dilip B Bhosale, Union ministers Ashok Gajapati Raju and Bandaru Dattatreya, AP Assembly Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao, Telangana Assembly Speaker S Madhusudana Chary, AP Legislative Council Chairman A Chakrapani, Telangana Legislative Council Chairman K Swami Goud and AP Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishnamurthy attended the dinner.

Telangana IT minister KT Rama Rao and irrigation minister T Harish Rao, several other dignitaries from AP and finance ministers of the two states Yanamala Ramakrishunudu and E Rajender, Telangana Congress leaders K Jana Reddy and Shabbir Ali, Rajya Sabha member K Chiranjeevi were also present.

Around 100 guests including officials, politicians, film personalities and VIPs attended the dinner.
