Palla Rajeshwar Reddy Appointed Farmers Coordination Committee President

HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has decided to appoint MLC and TRS general secretary Palla Rajeshwar Reddy as President of State Level Farmers Coordination Committee. The CM has instructed officials concerned to take up the appointment process at the earliest.

The CM also said the members of the Farmers Coordination Committee will also be appointed shortly and that the farmer's coordination committees will be strengthened from village to the state level by June.

The committees should be made into an organisation which will help farmers in the state from sowing the seeds to getting the minimum support price for their produce.

There will be a high-level review meeting on strengthening the committees in three or four days and also discuss other issues related to farmers.
