RTC Employees Try To Lay Seige To Harish Rao House

HYDERABAD: The TSRTC strike entered its 38th day today, the RTC JAC leaders and employees tried  to lay siege to Harish Rao's resident in Siddipet on Monday, November 11.

The RTC workers have taken up this agitation to seize the houses of TRS ministers, MLAs and MPs demanding for them to explain the situation to the Telangana Chief Minister who is stern on his decision of not approving the merger of TSRTC with state government.

High tension prevailed at Harish Rao's residence as the police prevented the attempts of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employees to lay seige to Harisg Rao's house.  A worker lost consciousness as police and protesters clashed. She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. RTC employees shouted slogans against state government. The protesters were taken into custody by the police. The Pathancheru MLA camp office at Sangareddy district has been seized by RTC workers.

RTC employees even tried to lay seige to several other key leaders like Jagdish Reddy's House at Suryapet and MLA Bhaskar Rao's Camp Office at Miryalaguda.

The RTC JAC planned to hold an indefinite hunger strike on Sunday.
