Second Level Flyover At Biodiversity Junction

Work on the flyover which cost `69.47 crore was completed on November 1.

The 990-metre-long flyover will commence from Raidurg Police Station on the Mehdipatnam end and drop near IKEA showroom towards Kukatpally end.

The second-level flyover at the Biodiversity junction would ease traffic congestion by providing conflict-free movement at the junction. It will also provide relief to traffic on the Old Mumbai Highway from Mehdipatnam to Mindspace (Hitec City).

The completion of this flyover along with the other components of the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP) package-IV at Mindspace junction, Ayyappa Society junction and Rajiv Gandhi junction has created a conflict-free traffic flow channel from from Biodiversity junction on the Old Mumbai Highway to JNTU on National Highway 65 as stated in a press release by the SRDP.
