Ask Kavita About BJP’s Success In Telangana: Laxman To KTR

KTR and Dr K Laxman

BJP President of Telangana Dr K Laxman hit out at TRS working President KTR saying that if the TRS leader wanted to find out about the rise of BJP in Telangana, he should go to Nizamabad and ask his sister Kavita. The BJP leader, who addressed reporters at the state Party headquarters on Monday, said that the national party was poised to script history in the southern state. The rise of the BJP as a political force in Telangana was going to give sleepless nights to the ruling TRS, Laxman predicted. The TRS was rattled by the growing success of the BJP, he said.  Responding to KTR’s comment that he did not know who the working president of BJP, JP Nadda was, Laxman said it only reflected KTR’s arrogance. JP Nadda did not parachute himself into politics in the way KTR did, he remarked sarcastically.  Unlike KTR, JP Nadda did not come into politics on the strength of his father‘s name, but, carved his own niche in national politics, he added.

Dr Lakshman observed that the working president of the BJP had been in active politics even before KTR was born. Unlike KTR, he was a favourite son of the entire nation, and not just the Kalvakuntla family, he said.

KTR was the working president of a party headed by his father, Laxman remarked. He should respond to the questions raised by the BJP president. The TRS was busy lining the pockets of contractors, the BJP leader further commented.

Dr. Laxman demanded that KTR answer as to why schemes like Rythu Bandhu and Arogyasri were stopped. He questioned as to how the tender process was taken up in Kaleshwaram project without DPR. Mission Kakatiya had turned into commission Kakatiya, the BJP leader alleged. There should be a thorough probe into projects and the process of sales and purchase, the BJP leader said.

Laxman said that unlike the TRS which gave Farmhouse rule to the state, the BJP would deliver Modi-like governance.
