Minor Girl Commits Suicide In Warangal Due To Harassment

Warangal:  A ninth-standard minor girl committed suicide in Hanmakonda on Sunday after she was harassed by a group of youngsters.

According to police, the victim belonged to Sammaiah Nagar in Hanmakonda. She was harassed sexually by some young men locally. She was threatened not to inform anyone about the harassment. Unable to bear the harassment and the humiliation, she resorted to the extreme step.

Upon receiving information, police descended on the scene and sent the dead body for autopsy at Warangal MGM Hospital. Police are yet to ascertain if she was raped before she killed herself. Meanwhile, police nabbed two young me who are believed to have harassed the girl.
