Shaligouraram: In a shocking incident, a man allegedly killed his four-year-old son on Thursday night. This incident took place in Tirmalarayinigudem of Shaligouraram Mandal, Nalgonda district. According to Shaligouraram CI Castro Reddy and SI Raju, Chintala Kanakayya of Jajireddygudem of Suryapet district, got married to Swapna. They have a son, Akshay (4) and daughter, Akshitha (6), and are living in Hyderabad.

One month ago, an altercation broke out between them and then Kanakayya went to his uncle's house with his son in Tirmalarayunigudem. He was working as daily wage labourer in Hyderabad. After a few days, Chintala Ramulu, uncle of Chintala Kanakayya called Swapna on phone and asked her to take the boy with her. She agreed and said she would come back in two days. Upon learning of this, Kanakayya got angry with his uncle.

On Thursday night, after celebrating bonalu festival, Kanakayya in an intoxicated state brutally killed the boy. Based on a complaint filed by Swapna, Police arrested Kanakayya and started the investigation.
