Hyderabad: Move over Jaleel Khan, here comes Talasani Sai Kiran Yadav who rewrote the course of the river Godavari saying that it flows from Andhra Pradesh into the state of Telangana and then joins the Bay of Bengal !

If you thought TDP's Jaleel Khan’s “BCom Physics” blooper was funny, a video has gone viral, where TRS senior leader and Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav's son Talasani Sai Kiran Yadav made this statement during an interview with a prominent You Tube Channel ,that Godavari river was like a lifeline and that it flowed from AP to Telangana and joined the Bay of Bengal from here.

Netizens who spotted this mistake are sharing this bit and are trolling him for his sense of geography and comparing it with Jaleen Khan's “BCom Physics” degree controversy, which had earlier left the TDP red-faced with embarrassment . Some are even asking that if these are the new age leaders who are trying to contest elections and rule the state. While others were questioning as to whose son was this leader who couldn't get his facts right and was trying to foray into politics. The fact is that the river Godavari emanates from Maharashtra, flows through Telangana, enters AP in the Godavari districts and then flows into the Bay of Bengal.

It may be recollected that Jaleel Khan then a legislator of the ruling TDP in Andhra Pradesh claimed to have studied physics and mathematics in his Bachelors of Commerce (B.Com) programme. Jaleel Khan made the statement while discussing his educational qualifications during a televised interview. When asked whether he was passionate about commerce and ever wanted to be a chartered accountant, Khan said he studied commerce because of his interest in mathematics and physics.
