RTI Reveals Shocking Facts In Gangster Nayeem’s Case

Hyderabad: Startling revelations emerged in gangster Nayeem's case. Several TRS and TDP leaders' names figured in these disclosures. Particularly the name of BC leader and former MLA R Krishnaiah in this list came as a surprise. Some senior police officials' names surfacing these records have now become a matter of intense discussion in the police department. These politicians and officials are said to have had a connection with Nayeem directly or indirectly.

After Nayeem's case was handed over to the Special Investigation Team for probe, 250 cases were filed. About 1.944 kg gold, 2, 482 kg silver and Rs 2 crore were seized by officials after the case was handed over to SIT.

These details emerged after the Forum for Good Governance sought the information under the Right to Information Act.

TRS leaders: Bhuvanagiri Counsellor Abdul Nazr, former counsellor Srinivas, former ZPTC Sudhakar, former MPPs Nagaraju, Venkatesh.
