Former Minister Mukesh Goud Admitted To Hospital In Critical Condition

Hyderabad: Congress leader and former Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh Mukesh Goud was admitted into the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) when his health condition turned critical.

In an official statement released by Apollo Hospital ,"Mukesh Goud was admitted to the Hospital at 9 pm on Sunday in a serious condition".

Mukesh Goud has been undergoing treatment for cancer for quite some time now and has been away from public life. His son Vikram Goud also appealed to people to not believe the fake news that was circulating in the media about his father's death. He also requested the media not to post such news and that they would update them about his father's health. At the moment he said that his father was in the ICU under medical supervision and they were hoping that he would recover soon.

Mukesh Goud represented the Goshamahal constituency and served as Minister for Marketing and Ware Housing from 2010 to 2014 and also in Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy's cabinet. He contested in the 2018 Telangana assembly elections from Goshamahal constituency and lost to BJP candidate Raja Singh.
