Jaipal Reddy To Be Laid To Rest With Full State Honours

Hyderabad: Veteran Congress leader S Jaipal Reddy's last rites will be performed with full state honours. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao directed Chief Secretary SK Joshi to make necessary arrangements to this effect.

Reddy breathed his last in Hyderabad past midnight on Sunday. He was undergoing treatment for pneumonia at a private hospital in Hyderabad. He was 77 and is survived by his wife, two sons, and a daughter.

The Congress leader will be laid to rest at Necklace Road in Hyderabad on Monday. The funeral procession will begin from his residence in Jubilee Hills on Monday and the mortal remains will be kept in Gandhi Bhavan, the Congress headquarters, for public viewing.
