All Telangana Districts To Be Open Defecation-free By July 31

Hyderabad: All districts in Telangana will become open defecation-free (ODF) by July 31, Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao announced on Saturday.

He was addressing a meeting on awareness about Swachh Bharat Mission and Haritha Haram in Sangareddy town. Rao said that Sangareddy will be an open-defecation free district and the state government will take decision on release of funds for the purpose soon.

He also congratulated Sangareddy collector Hanumantha Rao and urged people to participate in Haritha Haram so that the green cover of the state increases.
