Hyderabad: A BTech student committed suicide at his home in Bhimadeverapalli of Warangal urban district allegedly for failing in a supplementary examination on Friday evening. The deceased student have been identified as 21-year-old Nishanth who was pursuing engineering in a private college here. He was the son of Ramesh and Rani.
Vangara police said that when he learnt he had failed in the supply exam, he slipped into depression.
On Friday, when his parents were not home, Nishanth hung himself from the fan and died on spot. When his mother came back from work, she found him hanging from the ceiling.
Vangara police has registered a case. The body has been sent to Huzurabad government hospital for post-mortem.
