8th Standard Student Ends Life Over Class Leader’s Post

Yadadri: A class 8 student committed suicide only for the reason that he lost the elections to a female classmate, to select a class leader in his school on Thursday.

Getting into the details, Sai Charan, an eighth grader was studying in Krishna Veni Talent School in Ramannapeta in Yadadri district, Telangana.

There was an election process to select the class leader for his class, for which Sai Charan contested. Another girl who also contested for the post won the elections.

Upset over losing to a girl, it is alleged that Sai Charam in a fit of depression left home on Thursday evening and committed suicide by jumping in front of a train nearby.
