Telangana Police arrested a leader of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) after a woman forest officer was injured in an attack by him and his followers in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district on Sunday. Zilla Parishad Vice Chairman K. Krishna Rao and his followers were booked for attempt to murder, damaging vehicle and for preventing a government official from discharging her duty.

Mahabubnagar district collector Ronald Ross has sacked ten teachers for not keeping up with their duties. At 9.15 am on Saturday, he abruptly conducted checks on the Girls High School at Gandhi Road in the district center. Of the 16 teachers, three were on leave and only four attended the school during prayer time.

Malakpet police have arrested a man who watched a young woman while bathing in a bathroom. As per the details provided by the victim, Inspector KV Subbarao informed that the young woman was residing on the third floor of the Seven Hills apartment in the Moosarambagh Division. On the same floor, R Sivakumar Pillai (37) belonging to Balanagar of Fatehnagar resided.
