Dead Lizard Found In Mid-Day Meal In Warangal, Students Fall Ill

Warangal: A mid-day meal turned poisonous for kids as 12 kids fell ill at a anganwadi centre in Kesamudram mandal in Mahabubabad district after having the meal with a dead lizard on the rice bowl.

The students were rushed to the hospital and are said to be out of danger. On Inspection, the teacher found a dead lizard in the rice bowl.

The students of a nearby government primary school too had the meal.

Although none complained of food poisoning, some said they were feeling nauseautic after sometime of having the meal.

However, doctors said that the students are out of danger.
