1. Kaleshwaram Inauguration: YS Jagan Unveils Plaque at Medigadda Barrage

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao officially inaugurated the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme (KLIS) at Medigadda in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on Friday. The official launching of the Godavari lift irrigation project was done by switching on the sixth Motor pump at 12.30 ,near Medigadda barrage in the presence of Governor ESL Narasimhan, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

2. Police From Mahabubnagar To Get Weekly Offs

District Superintendent of Police Rema Rajeshwari on Thursday announced that all police personnel working in Mahabubnagar district will get weekly offs with immediate effect. In a statement to media persons, Rajeshwari said the decision was taken keeping in mind the immense stress which police officers undergo in their line of duty due to lack of rest time.

3. Family Of Four Killed In Accident At Chilkur

Four members of a family died on spot and four were injured after the auto they were travelling in hit a truck near Chilkur in Suryapet district on Friday morning. The deceased have been identified as Md Afzal Miyan (55), his wife Gousiyan (48), their family members Mahmooda (35) and Maheen (12).

4. BTech Girl Mowed To Death By Lorry Near Shamshabad

An engineering girl student was mowed down by a lorry at Parigi in Shadnagar district in the outskirts of the city. The deceased, Simran (20), died on spot. She was a second-year BTech student at a private college in Shamshabad and resided in Paradise Colony.
