In a video which has been released on social media, an Indian Army Jawan has come forward saying that his agricultural land has been grabbed by local revenue authorities in Telangana.

The Army Jawan, Sappeta Swamy is posted at Jammu and Kashmir. A native of Chityal village in Tadwai Mandal of Kamareddy district, Swamy alleged in his video that a person named Pippiri Anjaneyulu has grabbed his six-acre agriculture land.

In his video, the 26-year-old Jawan says, "People hold soldiers at high respect and say ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan’. In reality, there is no protection for Jawans or the farmers. Their land registration documents are being given away without their knowledge. It happened to me today, tomorrow it may happen to you."

Claiming that the employees at the Revenue Department were managed by Anjaneyulu who somehow got hold of the documents of his land, he further said that the man in question is threatening to kill his parents if they entered the land and even the media is not willing to broach the subject after learning of his involvement.

Sappeta Swamy urged the public via his video to share the clip until it comes to the notice of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Meanwhile, the video has evoked strong responses on Twitter with many urging the government to take necessary action. In response, District Collector N Sathyanarayana has sought an immediate inquiry into the issue. As per the Collector's report, the authorities have already asked Swamy's father Sai Reddy to approach the Civil Court for the land dispute, after his land was possessed in May.
