Jagtial: An Intermediate student in Jagtial district has been issued two hall tickets for the Telangana Advanced Supplementary examinations.

For the exam scheduled on June 12, the Intermediate Board issued the student two hall tickets with two different examination centres.

The student, Vinod is a resident of Vemulakurthy in Ibrahimpatnam village of Jagital district and pursued his Intermediate education from a private college in Metpally during 2015-17. After failing in the Chemistry exam, Vinod applied for the supplementary exam, which is scheduled on June 12.

However, he received two hall tickets mentioning different exam centres. The student has approached the Board officials to resolve the issue and allot one exam centre for the exam.

The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) in Telangana is facing immense scrutiny following the fiasco that took place in the release of the Intermediate results this year where several discrepancies came to the fore. Also, earlier this week, two boxes of question papers of the supplementary exams were found to be missing in Warangal, further bringing the Board under the scanner.
