Hyderabad: In a major boost to farmers in Telangana, the state government on Monday sanctioned the release of Rs 6,900 crore for the implementation of Rythu Bandhu scheme in the ensuing Kharif season which begins in June. On the occasion of the Telangana Formation Day on June 2, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had announced the decision to provide financial assistance to farmers under Rythu Bandhu scheme for Kharif during his speech.
