IT Manager Falls To Death In Banjara Hills, Murder Suspected

Hyderabad: An IT manager in Banjara Hills was found dead under mysterious circumstances. The victim, identified as Shiva Nagaraju (36), a resident of Hayathnagar, was found in a pool of blood in the early hours of Saturday on the ground floor of the building he worked at.

Nagaraju worked with an education service provider, Jaro Education and fell to his death from the five-storeyed building on Road No 8 in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

The police are investigating whether he accidentally fell from the building or if he was pushed. The police suspect that this may be a case of murder as there were multiple injuries, Nagaraju's wrist was slashed, a stab wound was found in the abdomen and strangulation marks were also found on his neck.

According to the Banjara Hills police, other colleagues of Nagaraju had left the office when the incident took place. After reviewing the CCTV footage, the victim was seen falling from the building but as to what transpired inside the office is not yet known since the CCTV cameras in the office were switched off at 8.30 pm on Friday.

At 7 pm on Friday evening, Nagaraju had called his wife, Navya informing her that he would be returning home late. But later when she tried to reach him, there was no response. Her repeated attempts to contact him went in vain. She sent an acquaintance, Gautham to look for her husband around 4 am on Saturday. He found Nagaraju dead on the ground floor and immediately alerted the police, who shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem. A case under Section 302 (murder) of IPC was registered by the police.
