1. Former TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash On The Run, Arrest Likely

Accused of being involved in a case of forgery and data theft Former CEO of TV9 Ravi Prakash has once again been summoned by the Cyberabad police. The former TV anchor did not show up before the authorities earlier despite two notices issued by the Cyberabad police under section 160 of CRPC on May 9 and 11. The police have reissued another notice under Section 41 A of CRPC to appear before them at 11am on May 15.

2. 4 AP Students Score perfect 100 in JEE Mains Architecture Courses

The HRD Ministry's National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday announced that6 four students from Andhra Pradesh have scored perfect 100 in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) – Main, for admission to architecture courses. The four students are Gollapudi N Lakshmi Narayana, Korapati Nikhil Ratna, Sykam Ritesh Reddy and Gudla Raghunandan Reddy.

4. Hyderabad gets relief as temperatures dip slightly

Temperature levels which went beyond 43 degree Celsius across the city over the last few days dipped a bit on Tuesday, hovering around 40 degree Celsius. According to the Telangana State Development Planning Society, Srinagar Colony recorded the day’s highest of 41 degree Celsius followed by Khairatabad (40.9 degree Celsius), BHEL (40.9 degree Celsius) and Maithrivanam (40.8 degree Celsius).

A 38 year old gulf migrant Mohammed Faraz hailing from Karimnagar and working as a driver n Kuwait was killed when the bus he was driving collided with a container truck at the fourth ring road in Kuwait on Tuesday evening, according to information reaching here.

6. Statues of film stars removed on Vizag beach road

The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation on Monday night removed three statues erected on the beach road illegally. The statues of film star Akkineni Nageswara Rao, director Dasari Narayana Rao and actor Nandamuri Harikrishna came up all of a sudden overnight on November 30 on the beach road and on the next morning, HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao unveiled them to mark his birthday.

The TS ECET-2019 was conducted peacefully across 85 centres in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh with 96.74 per cent of the registered candidates appearing for the test on Saturday morning.
