Hottest Day In Hyderabad As Temperatures Soar

Hyderabad: The city has been reeling under intense heat with the maximum temperatures hovering between 41 to 42 degrees Celsius since the past 10 days and the temperatures are consistently on the rise.

The temperatures recorded on Monday were beyond 43 degrees Celsius mark, which is four degrees above normal in the month of April. As per the Telangana State Development Planning Society, the maximum temperature of 43.2 degrees Celsius was recorded at Ameerpet followed by 42.5 in Qutbullahpur, 42.1 in Shapur Nagar and 42.1 in Balanagar. The

India Meteorological Department (IMD) observed the average temperature in Hyderabad on Monday at 41.2 degrees Celsius.

According to the IMD forecast, the city is likely to witness further rise in temperatures and consistently stay at 43 degrees Celsius during the entire week.
