Narayanpet: The government is conducting a re-evaluation for all the students who have failed in the examinations begining from today (Saturday). In the wake of the students' suicides, the students committees are criticising the failure of the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) regarding the results and staging protests across the state.

The irregularities witnessed in the Intermediate results have claimed 19 lives of students so far. Another student, identified as Sirisha, an Intermediate first-year BiPC student committed suicide after learning that she had failed in the examinations.

A native of Danwada Kondronupalli, Narayanpet district, Sirisha was depressed over failing in a subject. On Saturday morning, she set herself ablaze by pouring kerosene all over her body. Unable to deal with the pain, the victim even jumped off the terrace of her house.
